The purpose of this project is to access and summarize Covid -19 information for specific counties of interest to my extended family and friends.

There are numerous online sources of Covid-19 tracking data and projection models. Many of these sources are of high scientific and statistical quality. Most produce a "dashboard" view of the relevant data and summary statistics. Unfortunately, the information-rich dashboard pages can be intimidating to folks who don't spend their waking hours immersed in data analytics or public health risk management.
